Jobs & Theses
We have open bachelor and master theses for the new semester! Just drop by and ask, or email me. (eva.herzig"at"uni-bayreuth.de) We have several interesting research projects in the field of time-resolved measurements to characterize organic solar cells and to develop new characterization methods.
Open PhD positions:
- Improvement of data analysis methods: The project involves the development of transformations and code for efficient data analysis and the optimisation of measurement protocols that we need for the characterisation of nanostructure formation under controlled processing. The candidate should have a strong interest in X-ray scattering physics and related analysis requirements, excellent programming skills and ideally an interest in occasional sample preparation.
- Systematic nanomorphology changes in organic solar cells: Basic research with the aim of enabling applications. This is possible in this collaborative project, in which our structural characterisation and manipulation is closely linked to the work of partners on solar cell physics, simulation and fabrication.
